Sensory Sport
A new Sensory Sport session is now available on Saturdays 10.30-11.30am at Auckland Hall, 25 Sunbeam Close, B36 9JR. £2 per participant per session.
This session is designed specifically for children aged 5-16 years with complex needs, and it offers a safe, supportive, and accessible way to enjoy a range of sports including football, tennis and badminton.

Sensory walks help you use your senses to connect with your surroundings while staying active. Six local sensory walking routes have been mapped to help you explore your area, encouraging you to notice sights, sounds, textures, and scents along the way.

Inclusive Orienteering
British Orienteering have collaborated with our local orienteering club Octavian Droobers to create exciting bespoke inclusive activities in two Solihull parks. Both courses include a short accessible route, please follow Course 1. To access the courses on your phone, download the MapRun app. on Apple devices or Android devices. Babbs Mill Park – Short Accessible Course, 2.8km follow markers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 15, 16.

Elmdon Park – Short Accessible Course, 1.4km follow markers 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16.
Include Me Games Event
Thank you to everyone who attended the free ‘Include Me’ event in October 2025. Planning for the 2026 event is underway, and we’ll share details closer to the time. ‘Include Me’ gives people with disabilities a great chance to try different sports, activities and learn about local support services.

Local Organisations
- Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and North Solihull Sports Centre – Provide a range of inclusive activities, including swim, gym and exercise classes.
- Disability Resource Centre – DRC is a charity run by disabled people, for disabled people.
- Family Care Trust – A support service for individuals with mental health, learning difficulties and physical disabilities.
- Fundamental Movement Academy – Provide access to fully inclusive niche sports such as Free Running, Gymnastics and Trampolining.
- Inclusive Next Steps – INS provide a range of disability sports activities throughout Solihull.
- Midland Mencap – A charity which works and campaigns for accessible and inclusive services and a better quality of life for everyone.
- Our Voices Heard Solihull – Empowering children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities in Solihull.
- Solihull Borough Talking Newspaper – We help enable unsighted people or those with limited sight to be able to keep abreast with the local news.
- SoLO (Solihull Life Opportunities) – SoLO help people with learning disabilities to look afresh at their true potential, to learn new skills, and become more independent.
- Solihull Moors Foundation – Inclusion and Inclusivity are the key. Moors work tirelessly to ensure everybody is looked after and that every individual is made to feel valued.
- Solihull Parent Carer Voice – Independent parent carers working together to raise awareness and improve outcomes for all children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND 0-25).
- Solihull Seals – Solihull Swimming Club for the Disabled at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre.
- Solihull Self Advocacy Group – An independent charity providing advocacy services, helping people develop self-advocacy skills and support peer advocates in campaigning for change.
- Solihull Wheels for All – SWFA provide inclusive cycling for everyone, in a safe environment, with bikes provided.
- Sporty Minds – Provide access to sports provision for children and young people with SEND by hosting a range of sporting events throughout the academic year.
- StreetGames – Inclusion is at the heart of the StreetGames mission. We are an equity organisation, driven by the absolute belief that access to sport and physical activity transforms the lives of the UK’s most underserved children and young people.
- Think Active – The Active Partnership for Coventry, Solihull, and Warwickshire take a place-based approach to removing barriers to movement, physical activity and sport.
- Warwickshire CAVA – CAVA are the local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Infrastructure Organisation providing vital support to volunteers, groups, organisations, enterprises and charities.

- Activity Alliance Activity Cards – Do you need advice on how to create accessible opportunities for disabled people in sport and physical activity. These cards provide activities for all ages and abilities, and can support people to be physically active and to lead a healthy life.

- Get Yourself Active: Social Care Activity Pack – Designed for carers, support workers, and personal assistants.
